DoxStor was created in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita when founders, Milo Pinckney and Steve Rubinstein, witnessed firsthand, the loss of millions of critical documents in the gulf coast. Hundreds of businesses had no choice but to leave behind their financial records, insurance documents, maintenance information, human resource files and dozens of other business critical documentation. Not only was the loss catastrophic to businesses, but individuals lost their important documents as well, especially in the wake of losing their physical possessions. Sometime documentation is the only way to start over. Home and Auto Insurance policies, wills, deeds, medical information, education records, and personal financial records would have made the transition and start-up much easier - Nevermind the loss of family photographs, videos, music etc.
As a result of these losses, DoxStor was formed. Our mission is to leverage the Web and the Software-as-a Service model to offer the world's most efficient document storage and retrieval system.
DoxStor can be used for critical document storage by individuals, small businesses and in the enterprise. The common thread for all DoxStor customers is the need for document management and to have instant, secure and simple access to their critical documents from any web portal in the world.
DoxStor's engineering and management teams are constantly upgrading, not only the DoxStor user interface, but the internal workings of our document storage and retrieval product. We are dedicated to giving the customer the best document storage service at a low cost with the peace of mind of a secure system.
